María José González-Fuentes
Hi! I am a PhD student in Economics at ENS de Lyon and the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict CERGIC, supervised by Sophie Hatte.My main research interests are in gender economics and political economy. I also work on discrimination in the labor market using experimental methods.
Prior to my PhD I was a pre-doctoral researcher at INSEAD and the Women in Business Chair at Sciences Po. I also hold a Master’s degree in Economics from PSE.
In the spring term of 2026 (January-March), I will be visiting the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick, hosted by Professor Manuel Bagues.
